I awoke with almost no voice the last morning of the CEO Changemaker Mastermind

Day 1 was Getting Down to Business Day with purposeful work completed and/or planned for Dianna, Natalie, Meredith, Andrea (she was in from Budapest and was such a trooper missing her luggage — we were also missing our girls Emily, Lindsay and Megan).

Saturday, we covered the inverted pyramid of success: Is this essential / Is this creative and supporting my feminine? / Do I have a structure that supports my financial growth and my masculine?

We discussed the five ways to a grow list authentically, how to actively and non actively grow it, as well as regal retention…

We dove into how to fill programs with ease and the art of private invitations (more on that today), as well as how to, as a creative type, plan your expression spontaneously (there’s such a thing) and how to give generously throughout free trainings and multiple opt-ins…

We discussed the trust we have to have in THE something greater *inside* of us, the “…or something better” mantra and just generally the trust we must have in ourselves that we will follow inspired action.

We talked about changing the coaching industry…

Day 2 was Go with The Flow of Life day… we started off with one of my spiritual teachers Dean speaking, then went into the mindset required to move others into inspired action in their own lives and how to be more high touch in business without necessarily having to increase one-on-one work.

How to show up for ourselves to be able to show up for others was asked to be put on the agenda…

As I sat Sunday sipping tea and enjoying some light music in the background before the ladies arrived for our last day together, it was nice to go back to the deep desire I remember feeling years ago of owning a business AND having a life. Scratch that…of moving others into inspired action in their lives AND doing the same consistently in mine…

With or without a physical voice, the expressed entrepreneur
moves people as they genuinely and from deep inside,
model what they’re selling…xo.

DON’T Apologize (A Story for the Women)


A Story For The Women…

Michelita, I look pretty today, my grandmother would say over the years…

Can you take a picture of me? she asked.

It normally made me smile, then laugh, in wild and warm appreciation. Similar to the feeling felt seeing my Mom with my son over the years, it made me fall deeper in love with my Grandma each and every time…

We need to fall in love more with women falling in love with themselves, regardless of how it feels to you (that may just be about you).

Oma and I did this ‘I look pretty today; can you take a picture of me’ dance for just under 20 years. I got really good at taking photos and feeling, maybe, what it felt like to appreciate ourselves in any given moment. (Speaking of dance, she loved the macarena and never met a chicken dance at my weekend German school she didn’t love. In fact, I always wondered if dancing helped her get over the trials and challenges she had lived through…).

Women are creative, generous, resilient and uniquely energetic creatures.

For so many of us who grew up without a Dad present, whether physically or emotionally, women were our life force, always ready to do whatever it took to help us feel loved, heard, strong, empowered, supported and celebrated.

Our ability to recognize our beauty, inside and out, and want to memorialize it in space and time and, in many ways, honoring the matriarchs who taught us to love all parts of ourselves, regardless of what others feel about it, is superpower-esque.

Since ladies, moms and grandmoms are normally behind the camera and because of many other more powerful reasons, I say take as many selfies and capture as much of you on this day of feeling radiant and ready to take on the world, as possible.

Capture this moment in time where the sun is shining perfectly on your face, those gorgeous eyes, the windows to your soul and two mini wells holding your emotion, want to tell your story…

Honor how much you’ve lived in whatever way you choose and feels good…write without abandon, take and ask for photos unabashedly, travel like there’s no tomorrow, sing as if you had the voice of an angel and you will always have a standing date with your soul…

I see you and think you look beautiful.

What Your IG Tiles Look Like

I recently watched a quick clip of a social media expert telling people to watch for what the tiles look like on their Instagram feed.

I say, empty out the contents of you, yourself, your soul and focus on allowing others to feed on that.

Give of your vitality, in other words, your brand of vivaciousness. We’ve heard it all before, but it can’t be said or heard enough ~ give v a l u e.

And guess where that comes from?

Deep inside where tiles on Instagram are only a tiny piece of the large and hopefully very meaningful puzzle…

To inspire visually is just one piece of the inspire, empower, entertain and educate square, but if you don’t go heavy specifically on the inspire, empower and educate pieces, it may all fall to pieces (ok, that’s dramatic, of course, but it might feel that way to you). This is how some of my clients felt before they started sharing, expressing, branding and marketing in greater alignment with their values and why behind their business…

If you give yourself permission to channel your inner Creative Heroine who knows that honesty, heart and a Herculean-sized bravery is needed to create a business that feels like a true extension of your life, the rest truly takes care of itself.

If you speak from the heart and keep showing up with all you know and feel, always focusing on them vs. you (what do they need to hear? how do they want to experience their transformation? why is it so important to them?) from a place of both experience AND love, you will be taken care of.

You end up creating a business with soul.

Your brand and this movement is created, day in and day out, when you allow yourself to tap into courage to be all of you as you focus on them — in that light, say what it is that you really want to say…tell the stories you want to tell…give generously without worrying about if it’s too much or not…

In a business-turned-movement like this too much doesn’t exist. You’re never too much, your stories are never too much and your multi-passionate or multi-dimensional ways are never too much…you are and IT is all just enough…

In short, generosity and depth beyond the looks of your IG tiles is what looks most gorgeous on you…
