There's a new way in business or branding (really, in LIFE) and it's called going "naked"…
What I mean, of course, is sharing who you really are.
If you've been with me for a while, you've probably heard me say "Transparency is the bridge to connection."
And it is.
These days, it’s not enough to have amazing products and services, people want to get to know YOU. They want to know the person behind the brand.
Going "naked", or being even more yourself in the business of expression, is about connecting the dots between what's happening in your life or business and sharing the points, ahas, lessons, trials and/or successes that a) you know will genuinely connect you to your audience (hello to "know, like and trust") and that b) supports others ~ your esteemed community ~ in experiencing their own share-worthy ahas, lessons and successes.
Being naked, or more transparent in business or branding, is not about TMI — "too much information" — but it is about the regal or right information.
In short, it’s about producing value, not just creating content.
And, for those of us entrepreneurs who aren't just interested in creating an authentic brand, but in meshing, or more, blurring the lines between business and life, it’s ever more important to be —> ourselves.
