To change something in your relationship, you can’t (only) continue to look inside your relationship — though it IS, most times, powerful enough to heal itself.
To change something in your body, you can’t (only) continue to look inside the body — though it is, most times, powerful enough to heal itself.
To change your mind or mindset, you can’t (only) continue to look inside that same mind — though it IS powerful enough to help itself.
It’s the same in business. You can’t continue to look inside that same business or inside that same industry for the salve.
You need perspective and insight from slightly unexpected sources, namely people and insight from different industries and how they solve problems or filter things to come out the other end with something stunning, meaningful, different and maybe even magical (most people you look up to have done this and keep doing this).
Look to the fashion industry or tech if you’re in graphic design.
Allow yourself to be inspired by the culinary field if you’re a writer.
Read up on biographies of those who have made it big in hospitality if you’re a consultant, psychologist or coach.
Look to the way things were done in the 1900s…go old school…
And ~ look outside the physical body to the mental and emotional bodies for guidance. To the spiritual body for support with mental blocks. To the way couples on a ballet stage support each other in creating beauty and something memorable and inspiring for insight into creating similar in your love life.
Especially if you’re in a throw your hands up in the air moment, phase or season, why not get a little crazy and more artistically curious about how to solve or surrender to it?
At the very least, you’ll enjoy the play present in this process to the point where your energy starts to change or evolve (*you* start to change and evolve) and that, in and of itself, betters things.
