I’m Back + 45th Birthday!

It was such a privilege to vision quest (more to come, I’m very alive! Thank you so much for your thoughts, prayers, texts and calls on that and on my birthday today) — and it is an equal honor to have these sisters fly down / drive up to celebrate 45 with me.

Though a trip to Trader Joe’s post vision quest was overwhelming (being in the wild for nine days in this way sure changes some things), Annie, Rochelle and Robyn (the ladies pictured here), the fam I choose as friends, sure are helping me ease into society shenanigans.

My love for this life…ay ay ay, so big.

When We’re Unhappy

When we have it all (our version of the physical “all”) and are unhappy but can’t put a finger on it, taking a look at, and, most importantly, taking a chance on taking this is supportive: the first step in using time you’d normally take to think about that confusing dissatisfaction to help others.

One other or a group of others. Whatever feels right or is the lowest hanging fruit…

The point is not to do it once or thrice or every once in a while, but with frequency, until you potentially feel those feelings of dissatisfaction with life dissipate.

Maybe it’s helping that one person or that group of people with something you’ve conquered or maybe it’s not anything you’ve been through ever, but have a soft spot (a soft heart) for…

I Did THIS for the 1st Time in Years!

For the first time in years, I decided my last trip (to The Netherlands, our old hometown) would be a non-working one.

Normally and especially on overseas holidays, I try to do meetups or workshops or see clients / clients-turned-friends during a day or two, and on this trip, none of that was planned.

I enjoy my work supporting women to their authentic brands and higher callings so much (it’s felt like a natural extension of life ~ hasn’t felt separate) and, that said, some has changed — not the enjoyment of the work part, but other ways around the expression of it).

All that said, I was still checking in every couple days and on one of the days, my husband and I received an email from the CEO of the prison reform & rehabilitation project we’re working on with amazing news!

We sent him an audio message back and I can’t tell you how equally GREAT it felt to hit send before getting on bikes with Nolan.

Your dream/a dream impacts the dreams of many others, KEEP GOING ~ while not forgetting to take care of the one who keeps it — all — going…
