THREE WORDS to use in 2016
(& NEW Video Series!)

My business bff and I enjoying an event in 2015

I welcome a client today and, after that, will be doing some prep for a Q&A that’s coming down the pike with my business BFF, Zsuzsa [I mentioned Zsuzsa to you in my newsletter from 12/29.

Well, there’s more about her below and our video series launching on 1/6].

There's a lot to be done and there's even more to be grateful for…

The following is but one of those things…

[ENTER] THE GET-TO-DO LIST

I get through a busy work week of coaching, creating and leading groups with as much grace as possible by remembering that my list holds my get-to-do’s.

They’re not have to do’s, they’re get-to-do’s.

Can you already feel the difference?

Choosing entrepreneurship 14 years ago meant I was going after my creative and financial freedom. At least that’s what I remember thinking and getting VERY  excited by. During my corporate ‘past life’, I saved my inspiration for nights and weekends. But not anymore. Getting to be an entrepreneur meant that, no matter what I was working on or how late or hard I was working, I was doing what I wanted.

By consciously choosing my professional path, I wasn’t being expected by anyone else to DO, but instead, I was giving myself the opportunity to feel more…to feel and be creative, to feel and be more free and, ultimately, feel and be more empowered, moving towards creating what I most wanted to be a part of and do what I most wanted.

"Get to do's" = Part of the awakening we can experience as fresh or experienced entrepreneurs; choosing to look at everything that lies ahead of us as that of our choosing; a product of not just following, but, leading our dreams.

Congratulations. You chose this awesome path!

Each item on your daily, weekly or monthly list is a get-to-do.

We get to enjoy, create, follow-through on, start, finish, do research on, build, tear down, start over on, have the conversation about, celebrate, tweak and course correct…we get to do it all, all the while, learning about ourselves through the process.

In my opinion, the best extra credit gift or by-product of entrepreneurship: growing, bettering ourselves and evolving as humans, women and mothers.

And, here’s what happens when we shift from a have-to-do things mentality to a get-to-do mentality: we shift from stress, frustration and a heavy, burdened energy to a possibility mindset that gives us much more of the very energy we need to keep moving towards our biggest expression.

To that (and to you!) I say, Happy New Year!

So, at the top of my purposeful get-to-do list for 2016:

Collaborating with my business bff, Zsuzsa Novak!

Here’s what I get to do: I get to look at a woman who most would consider my direct competition (and she is) and see collaboration (and she is the best collaborator)!

I get to walk the talk of true connection, which we’re both about, and of two minds coming together to, as Napoleon Hill said, create a powerful third mind.

And, one of my all-time favorite and simplest parts about not just any collaboration but THIS collaboration: I get to have so much fun flowing in this partnership and soul sisterhood while creating something unique and appeasing my creative side.

Before I get to introduce her to you below, I'd love to share that our NEW video series launches on January 6th so, be on the lookout.

I’d now love to introduce my collaborator extraordinaire to you, albeit virtually…

Meet Zsuzsa Novak.

She has also consulted for multi-million dollar organizations like New Regency, Warner Bros., LA Fitness and Neutrogena. An internationally sought after speaker, Zsuzsa has been privileged to share the stage with legendary speakers like Bob Proctor and Marianne Williamson.

Zsuzsa is a global impact expert. As a business and brand strategist, her mission is to pay the freedom forward by helping thought-leaders, change agents, and visionaries bust out of the box and create socially conscious business ventures that stand out and shine.

And, there you have it and there you have the lovely Zsuzsa!

In closing today, Creative Heroine, I would love to share that I’m grateful for purposeful partnership, new ideas and, of course, YOU.

Thank you so much for being a part of this creative, soulful and driven entrepreneur community. We are ALL starting off with a clean slate! I wish you nothing but success and peace in 2016!

As you plan, jump back into work and/or co-create with your own business bff, think, feel and ask yourself:

  • What are MY get-to-do’s?

and

  • How can I adopt the possibility mindset that sees “have-to-do’s” and “competition” for what they can truly BE?

Your mantra for today and 2016, if you so wish: I don't *have* to do, I *get* to do (repeat 3x when you need it most).

See you on January 6th for Zsuzsa and my new video series!

In the meantime, enjoy your business, enjoy your life!

Life is good,

p.s. SAVE THE DATE: Zsuzsa and I can’t wait to share our NEW video series with you which is all about creating a Five-Star Business and Life — all filled with get-to-do’s!
